Promoting Understanding on International Non-Binary People’s Visibility Day
To mark International Non-Binary People’s Visibility Day, Anna Talisman, MSW, Head of Project Kesher Israel’s LGBTQ+ Program, gave an educational interview to the Russian-language newspaper Segodnya (Today). The interview explains non-binary identity, addresses common misconceptions, and promotes respectful, evidence-based understanding, making this important information accessible to Russian-speaking immigrants and refugees in their native language and cultural context.
In partnership with Clalit Health Services, Anna also developed a public information flyer (above) that provides clear, reliable guidance on non-binary identities. Together, these resources help foster greater awareness, inclusion, and access to culturally responsive information for Russian-speaking communities across Israel.
