PKI Board Member Launches Book: Fundraising for the Rest of Us
Project Kesher Board Member Allison Byers was recently featured at Calvetti Ferguson's Part Four: Building Beyond the Expected event in Nashville, where she joined a conversation on entrepreneurship, fundraising, and building successful ventures beyond traditional startup hubs.
Allison is the founder and CEO of Scroobious, a relationship-first platform connecting founders, investors, and ecosystem partners, and the author of Fundraising for The Rest of Us. Drawing on her own experiences as an entrepreneur, Allison is helping reshape conversations around access to capital and creating more equitable pathways for founders.
During the discussion, she emphasized the importance of building authentic relationships and encouraged founders to recognize that fundraising setbacks are often rooted in structural barriers rather than personal shortcomings. PK Director of Development Samantha Tieger was honored to attend the event, and we are proud to celebrate Allison's leadership and congratulate her on the release of her new book, linked below.
