Jewish Mysticism Lecture Inspires Conversation on Women and Spirituality

Project Kesher Israel’s Modiin women’s group gathered for a lecture by rabbinical student Michal Kireeva, exploring Jewish mysticism and its connections to women, equality, and Jewish tradition.

Through the study of the Shekhinah and other feminine dimensions of the Divine, participants discovered the central role of feminine imagery in Jewish spiritual thought. The discussion sparked thoughtful conversation about the balance of masculine and feminine perspectives in Judaism, challenging assumptions and highlighting how Jewish learning can deepen spiritual curiosity while creating space for feminist voices within Jewish tradition.
