Women Illustrate Torah: “Noah’s Ark — Hope Among the Waves”

On October 16, the Petah Tikva Immigrant Arts Center hosted a creative and reflective evening for Project Kesher Israel’s women’s group as part of the “Women Illustrate Torah” program. Led by artist and center director Galina Shevtsova, participants explored the story of Noah’s Ark — reflecting on its themes of hope, resilience, and renewal in uncertain times.

After discussing artistic interpretations from Michelangelo to Chagall, the women created their own watercolor compositions inspired by the biblical text. The program continues to provide a unique space where art, Jewish spirituality, and contemporary experience meet in dialogue.
