“Leadership Today” Training Held in Kryvyi Rih

As part of a new initiative on civic engagement and leadership, a training session titled “Leadership Today” was held in Kryvyi Rih, led by Vlada Nedak, CEO of Project Kesher Ukraine and the Women’s Opportunity Fund.

Participants explored the principles of leadership — listening, supporting, and leading by example — while reflecting on their personal leadership styles. The session emphasized leadership as a skill that can be learned and practiced, shifting from hierarchy to collaboration and shared responsibility.

Olena, founder of ‘Vysoka Kimnata’ in Kryvyi Rih, shared her impressions:

“I’m starting a new project and forming teams now, so it was important to learn how to do this effectively. I also discovered new aspects of leadership, like the virtue of humility — something I hadn’t thought about before. I’m very grateful for this training; it was truly valuable.”

The event was organized by the Association of Responsible Citizens (a local NGO) with support from the Swedish International Liberal Center (SILC).
